Peanut Butter Reimagined
Peanut butter is a childhood classic! Most of us can remember countless after school snacks and on the go lunches featuring this protein-packed spread. We tend to think of it slathered between two pieces of bread and hanging out with its closest companion, jelly. Tasty PB&J sandwiches are a classic for good reason – they’re just so darn delicious! This humble combo will always be a part of the routine, but why not expand peanut butter’s horizons with a few new ideas.

Make It Savory
The creaminess of peanut butter lends itself really well to soups, stews and sauces. In fact in some cases, when added to a stock or liquid base, it can replace a cream element all together and thicken up your recipe beautifully! Peanut butter can add a rich, sweet and nutty component to a savory dish without making it taste like you’re having dessert. Simply Recipes has a great African Chicken Peanut Stew that just looks crazy good and is a great example of the savory side of peanut butter.
