When do you ever actually use all of the herbs that you buy (or grow)? Write your guests names on the blank side of 3 x 5 index cards and punch two small holes at the top to thread the ends of the herb’s stem through. This probably works best with heartier herbs like rosemary and thyme.

For the over-21 Thanksgiving crowd, these whiskey place cards are a punny take on turkey-day table details. Write your guests names on simple hang tags and tie them to an airplane bottle of Wild Turkey. Set them at each seat at your Thanksgiving table.
