Make Vibrant ‘Presents’ With Real Flowers

Not all gifts are meant to be opened!  These beautiful “presents” are made of real flowers for your guests to enjoy. It’s a creative way to decorate around your house wherever you may have put a flower vase before. Or place them all along your beautiful holiday table for fragrance, fun, and color. Maybe your neighbors deserve a floral gift this year.  It only takes a few minutes to create these decorations, so you can prep as many as your budding heart desires!

Materials:

  • Floral foam bricks called “Oasis”

  • Fresh flowers

  • Ribbon

Tools:

  • Scissors

  • Knife

Instructions:

  1. Moisten you floral Oasis bricks in water, let them rest to absorb the water and not be dripping.

  2. Stack your Oasis bricks to the size of the ‘present’ you’d like to make- they can be cut to any size with a knife.

  3. Tie your bricks up like you would a boxed gift – ribbon around the bricks, bow on top.

  4. Using just the flower heads with about an 1 1/2”of stem, cover all of the Oasis with the flowers.  Leave the ribbon apparent.
