Easy, Impressive Holiday Napkin Fold

Folding napkins is always a fun way to dress up the necessary elements of a dinner table.  We have fun with this one because it is easy as 1,2,3.  You don’t have to get too caught up in learning how to fold it, but rather in just having that extra detail that makes your table look it’s best on the big day.  We add bits of pretty things in the napkin to give the whole thing a boost.  Get creative!

Materials:

• Napkins

• Candy Canes

• “Holly” leaves – or otherwise

Tools:

• Iron (optional)

Instructions:

1. Fold your napkin from corner to corner to make a triangle.

2. Fold 3 pleats starting from the longest side of napkin, press with iron.

3. Lay the napkin in front of you, center pointing towards you.

4. Fold right side towards center, then left side, so that the two points overlap in the center. It will resemble a shawl collar.

5. Slide a candy cane in the middle with a sprig of holly or pine leaves.
