Charming Christmas Tree Utensil Holder

Ok, so all the kids are coming over to your house this year and you want to make it memorable. It’s those little details that really make the table sing!  We have a Christmas tree holder for your knife and fork that will make the kids feel fancy. And the felt gives the table a soft velvety touch. What kid doesn’t love that?

Materials:

  • Felt

  • Utensils

Tools:

  • Scissors

Instructions:

  1. Cut a tall rectangle of felt (needs to be 2” taller than your utensils).

  2. Hold felt so it looks tall, snip horizontal ½” cuts into the two long sides.

  3. Snip diagonal cuts between each horizontal cut so it makes a tree-like zig zag.

  4. A third of the way up from bottom snip two ½” cuts on each side of tree to insert the utensils (it should make a ‘bar’ to hold the utensil in place).
