Bucket List For Your Laundry Room

image

We spend so much time dreading the process of housework, but if you were able to visit a cool cleaning center in your laundry room, perhaps you would be more inspired to get the job done! Cleaning supplies should have an attractive place to live, too.

Materials:

  • Shelf brackets

  • 12-by-48-inch plywood board (or ready-made particle board shelf)

  • Paint

  • Garden border wire

  • Screw hooks

Tools:

  • Drill

  • Paintbrush

  • Painter’s tape

  • Wire cutters

  • Staple gun

Instructions:

  1.  Drill brackets into wall.

  2. Pain the shelf the color of your choice.

  3. Using your painter’s tape, outline a rectangle the width of your shelf and 12 inches high. Fill in your rectangle with paint, thus creating a backsplash.

  4. Using wire cutters, clip garden border wire at the bottom, where the arches begin, and attach it to the front edge of the shelf with a staple gun.

  5. Screw hooks into the bottom of shelf, one per bucket.

Here to stay: Use anchors because this shelf is going to have a great deal of weight on it.
