A new way to use flowers for Valentine’s Day.

You’re throwing a party, inviting your friends and family, so invite them in a way that will make them stop in their tracks. Don’t just send a mass e-mail; send something special in the mail.

Materials:

  • Ribbon

  • Wooden or cardboard boxes with lids

  • Artificial flowers

Tools:

  • Glue gun

  • Scissors

  • Wire cutters

Instructions:

  1. Simply hot-glue a pink ribbon around the rim of the top to a small box, then hot-glue an artificial flower on top.

  2. Place your written or typed invitation inside the box. This will entice your guests to mark the date on their calendars with ink.

  3. Consider typing the party details on a label and attaching it to the back of a colorful flower seed pack.
