Zsa Zsa Gabor Hospitalized for Lung Infection After Celebrating 99th Birthday: Report

Zsa Zsa Gabor wash rushed to the hospital Monday after having difficulty breathing, her husband Frederic von Anhalt told TMZ.

Gabor's doctor made a home visit before the 99-year-old was finally admitted to a Los Angeles hospital in the morning hours of Feb. 8. It was later determined that she has a feeding-tube-related lung infection, according to TMZ.

The iconic actress-socialite is now slated for surgery to have her breathing tube removed.

Gabor celebrated her landmark birthday just last week. Despite being just one year shy of becoming a centenarian, Gabor has led a life peppered with hospital stays over the last 10 years.

The former Miss Hungary spent a stretch of time at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center after the amputation of her right leg in 2011. Gabor had developed gangrene due to a blood clot in her leg following a 2010 hip-replacement surgery.

Gabor was previously confined to a wheelchair after a 2002 car accident, and then, in 2005, suffered a stroke.
