Zac Efron Did a Bad Tweet

Zac Efron, call your office.

The gorgeous stack of abs who we pay to look pretty is getting rightfully dragged through the mud on Twitter, after he posted a tweet thanking both his Instagram followers for their support and Martin Luther King Jr. for, you know, whatever it is he did.

“I’m grateful for a couple things today: Martin Luther King Jr & 10 million followers on IG,” the 28-year-old actor wrote, accompanying a photo of himself driving that Mustang he loves so much.

The thing is, it’s probably best not to compare one’s Internet influence with the notoriously troubling and ongoing struggle of black Americans. There’s some free advice.

Anyway, since the Internet is a mess, most people are just mad that Efron didn’t attend the High School Musical 10th anniversary reunion.

“’T as in Troy?’ NAAAAW BRUH T AS IN TEN YEARS LETTER [sic] I WONT SHOW UP AT OUR REUNION,” wrote one commenter who absolutely has his/her fingers on the pulse of what’s going on in the world.

In a way, though, isn’t it a relief to know we’ve already survived the worst tweet of 2016?
