Who Would Win in a Royal Race: Kate, William, or Harry?

Prince William may be first in line to the British throne after his father, Prince Charles, but on Sunday the prince took second to little bro Prince Harry as they went head-to-head in a friendly footrace alongside Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge. The young royals competed against each other in support of their charity initiative, Heads Together, and their campaign for mental health awareness in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London. The princes and princess joined 150 volunteers who are training for the London marathon.

At the starting line, Prince William was seen goofing around with his wife and brother and apparently joking to his teammates that he had pulled his hamstring. The trio competed against each other as part of a five-person relay, with each running 50 meters in the first leg of the race. At the finish line, Prince William was overheard telling the princess, “You nearly beat me,” as they embraced in a sweet hug. After the race at the Copper Box Arena, Prince William explained his goals for their Heads Together campaign. He told the volunteers, “We want to normalize mental health, get them talking about mental health to reduce the stigma.”

The royals are huge advocates for mental health awareness and are regulars at events for their Heads Together campaign.
