We’ve Decided Chrissy Teigen Needs to Sit in Every Audience at Every Event (Yes, We Know It’s a Lot to Ask)

Between her newborn, modeling career, TV show, and mild social media addiction, Chrissy Teigen has absolutely no free time. But if she did, she should become a professional seat-filler.
The woman is a spectacular spectator. To illustrate, we’ll point to the 30-year-old supermodel in the audience at a recent Mariah Carey #1 to Infinity show in Las Vegas. Her husband, John Legend, was called to the stage, and as a self-professed Lamb, which is what Mariah’s fans call themselves, Teigen was so excited that she cried. They were tears of happiness, and they flowed as she hopped up and down screaming like an over-caffeinated schoolgirl.

In a land of Botoxed faces, Teigen’s natural reactions at events are what live TV was made for. Let’s look at some other #ChrissyClassics:
Her awkward cry face. She’s obviously very beautiful (a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl!), so we don’t feel bad saying that the girl is an ugly crier. When Legend won a Golden Globe in 2015 for his song “Glory” from Selma, she was feeling all the feels — all at the same time. She looked happy, sad, mad, elated, ready to knock someone out, and vaguely constipated. It went viral.

Shading Stacey Dash face. At the Oscars earlier this year, she grimaced when the Clueless alum turned conservative pundit randomly appeared onstage following a sketch scorching the lack of diversity in Hollywood. Chrissy’s face represented all our faces.

The time she tried to eat her hand. At the 2015 Grammys, when Beck beat Beyoncé for Album of the Year and her pal Kanye West nearly charged the stage (again!), she reacted by eating her fist. Anything for a good selfie!
