Apparently, the key to putting a baby to bed is to hit the keys!

In an adorable 3-minute clip, David Motola, doting father to 5-month-old baby Samuel, soothes his son to sleep with a heartfelt rendition of "Brahms' Lullaby."

"I would do anything for him, I love him so much," Motola, a 28-year-old resident of Salt Lake City, Utah, tells PEOPLE. "He's the reason why I get up in the morning."

Motola, who posted the video to YouTube on January 31, says Samuel was fighting an ear infection and having trouble sleeping at the time.

When the video starts, he kisses his infant son on the top of the head before starting to play.

"I tried rocking him and that didn't work, so I put him in a baby carrier and tried to play the piano to calm him," he says. "I thought it would be sweet to show my wife if it worked, so I set the camera up and filmed us!"

Motola, who is also father to 4-year-old Isaac and 2-year-old Ezra, says he's received positive praise from people "all over the world" for his parenting techniques.

"Folks are reaching out telling me how much the video has impacted them," he says excitedly. "I had someone say they never had a father figure and it was nice for them to see what a loving dad actually looked like."

"Someone actually reached out to me and said they had never seen a dad be so soft and sweet with a child," says Motola. "Which was so surprising to me. I love all of my kids so, so much."
