Watch the Kardashians Pretend That Kendall Landing the Cover of Vogue’s September Issue Is NBD

Kendall Jenner is Anna Wintour’s “it” girl.

The model and reality star, 20, was picked as the cover girl for Vogue’s September issue, and you don’t have to be a fashionista to know that’s the most important issue of the year. The cover was unveiled Thursday, and we’ll go out on a limb and say the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star liked it, because she shared it on Instagram and wrote, “I F***ING DID IT. SEPTEMBER VOGUE.”

In the cover story, she talks about her father’s transition to Caitlyn Jenner, saying that after a “rough phase,” it’s “all super normal now. It’s not weird at all.” However, “sometimes I look at a picture of my dad when she was a guy, and it makes me a little sad — I get emotional. You have to get past it — you’ve got a new person to love. It’s kind of a blessing in disguise — if that’s not the wrong way to say it.”

Of course, the entire Kardashian klan is celebrating Kenny’s cover — though, in a funny video put out by the mag, they pretended that they were unimpressed.

Kendall is seen primping before heading downstairs in Kardashian headquarters to be congratulated by everyone. However, nobody seems to care. While there are copies of the mag all over the house, Kourtney is busy giving relationship advice, Kylie is feeding Penelope breakfast, Kris is wheelin’ and dealin’, and Kim and Khloé are FaceTiming each other … as they walk side by side.

It’s ultimately revealed to be a ruse — the family has an entire celebration planned, complete with balloons spelling out “Congratulations Kendall Vogue.” There’s a lot of pink and a lot of squealing, which seems par for the course out in Calabasas.

The oddest part, to us, is how Ryan Seacrest seems to have completely replaced Rob Kardashian in the family. The KUWTK producer is there, wearing a tie-dyed shirt, celebrating with the ladies — and there is no mention of the volatile sock designer.

And to answer some of your other questions: Yes, North West has a cameo (because she is by far the coolest member of the family.) And, no, Blac Chyna didn’t make the cut. (Over Anna Wintour’s lifeless body.)

So where is Kendall today as her cover rolls out? In Turks and Caicos for Kylie’s 19th-birthday festivities. She even arranged fireworks for her little sis last night.

However, Kendall seems to be the one really lighting things up professionally.
