Work is well underway for the 57th Presidential Inauguration in Washington, which will see Barack Obama sworn in for a second term. Inaugural organizers expect some 600,00 to 800,000 visitors to attend as well as a string of celebrities. (Jan. 18)
Scott: The FBI does NOT have the authority to "exonerate" ANYONE! Legally, ALL they can do is investigate, and present any evidence found- in either direction- to the Attorney General, who will then decide on a course of action- prosecute, charge, or refuse action due to a lack of evidence. So- a Director of the FBI who does attempt to "write a letter exonerating" the subject of an investigation is thereby committing a crime, and acting WITHOUT proper authority, and should thus be charged himself!
