Tracy Morgan Says God Spoke to Him After 2014 Car Accident

Following a traumatic car accident in 2014, Tracy Morgan is back on his feet and determined to bring the funny. The SNL legend opened up about the experience in a recent interview with Complex, saying that God spoke to him after the close call.

“I went to the other side. This is not something I’m making up. Do you know what God said to me? He said, ‘Your room ain’t ready. I still got something for you to do,'” Morgan told Complex.
Last month, Morgan took to Twitter, announcing his “Picking Up the Pieces” comedy tour, which begins Feb. 5 in Hammond, Illinois.

“You’re never going to be normal after you go through something like that,” he said. “You don’t die for a few weeks and then come back to normal, trust me. Something’s going to be missing, something’s going to be gained – you just got to live your life after that.”
