About this time a year ago, Tracy Morgan was returning home from treatment and physical therapy following a crash that left him in critical condition. He had graduated from using a wheelchair to a walker just days before.

He was doing much better over the weekend. The 30 Rock alum was photographed driving a car — a Lamborghini, no less — on Sunday by Steve Lacy, an anchorman for New York’s Fox 5.

Morgan, 46, has not returned to social media himself yet. However, he did open up about how he’s handled the fallout from the crash on NBC’s Today last month.

“I love comedy and I can’t wait to get back to her,” he said. “But for right now, my goal is to heal and get better. I’ll get back to making you laugh. I promise you.”

It was Morgan’s first live interview since a Walmart truck collided with his limo bus on the New Jersey Turnpike on June 7, 2014. The resulting six-vehicle accident left Morgan with a traumatic brain injury, and he fell into a coma for two weeks. He later sued Walmart in a case that was settled out of court.

“The case is settled, but the pain is always going to be there,” said Morgan, whose close friend James McNair was killed in the collision.
