Tony Bennett Dishes on Lady Gaga’s Upcoming Wedding
Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga might just be the cutest besties in Hollywood.
The unlikely friends released an album together in 2014 titled Cheek to Cheek and Mama Monster even tattooed the 89-year-old’s drawing of a trumpet on her arm. So when The Insider With Yahoo sat down with the music legend in his New York City art studio to talk about his new album, The Silver Lining, they just had to ask about his relationship with the “Applause” singer.
“I just love being around her and she loves being around me. We’re good friends,” Bennett gushed. “Just being around her is an inspiration. She’s so intelligent and so tasty about life.”
In fact, the two are so close that Gaga has asked him to perform at her upcoming nuptials to Chicago Fire actor Taylor Kinney. “One of the thrills I’m having is when she gets married, she’s invited me to sing at their wedding. So I’m looking forward to that,” Bennett revealed.
