Tom Hiddleston Says He’s Still Friends With Taylor Swift

Though Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift are no longer dating, the pair are on good terms.

In fact, according to Hiddleston, he and Swift are still friends. “Yes. Yes, we are,” he told PEOPLE with a smile when asked if they were amicable at the Emmy Awards on Sunday.

The British actor, 35, attended the star-studded ceremony in Los Angeles as a nominee for Outstanding Lead Actor in Limited Series or Movie, and also presented the Outstanding Directing for a Limited Series, Movie, or Dramatic Special category, with a twirling Priyanka Chopra, to his Night Manager director Susanne Bier.

Onlookers told PEOPLE that Tom seemed in great spirits, and happy to be at the Emmys as a nominee and to be supporting Bier’s win. Hiddleston also took selfies and interacted with fans and attendees.

Earlier this month, PEOPLE confirmed his breakup from Swift after a three-month romance.

The pair were first captured on video sharing a friendly dance at the Met Gala in May. Their new relationship was revealed more than a month later when photos of the pop star, 26, and the Thor actor frolicking on the beach in Rhode Island hit the Internet on June 15.

Within weeks, they rendezvoused on several PDA-filled trips such as Nashville, London, Italy, Rhode Island and Australia.
