The next time the first notes of Terence Trent D'Arby’s 1987 song “Wishing Well” play on the local easy listening radio station, think of Gwyneth Paltrow.

The actress, 43, named the tune as her favorite “sexy” song, during an interview with SiriusXM’s “My Favorite Song With John Benjamin Hickey,” airing April 20.

During the chat, the Goop honcho shared a few of her other faves as well. For instance, she brought up her good friend Beyoncé when asked about dance tracks.

“My favorite song to dance to is not technically a dance song, but it is ‘Drunk in Love’ by Beyoncé,” said Paltrow, who’s somewhat of a singer herself, as audiences saw on Glee and in her movies Duets and Country Strong. “Wow. I never get sick of this song. A song that has this much vibe, I mean, I get chills from this song. It just makes you want to move.”

Paltrow explained that Bey even gave her a preview of some of the music she released without any forewarning in December 2013.

“She played me a bunch of the videos before it dropped,” Paltrow said. “I had been with her a lot when she’d been working on it… I knew kind of the general plan and what she was going to do, that it was going to be a surprise."

Other artists with close Paltrow ties, including Beyoncé’s hubby Jay Z and Paltrow’s ex Chris Martin, were part of the conversation about her favorite songs, too. (So were the less expected Neneh Cherry and NWA, whose songs "Buffalo Stance” and “Gangsta Gangsta,” respectively, shared the honor of Paltrow’s favorite song from high school.)

Jay’s “Made in America,” a duet with Kanye West featuring Frank Ocean, is the star’s fave duet.

As for Martin, Paltrow said Coldplay’s “Everything’s Not Lost” is her favorite sad song.

She revealed that Martin changed the way she listens to music in at least one way.

“It’s so funny. I lived with a musician for so long,” Paltrow said when asked if there’s a soundtrack to her cooking. “Music is such a big thing for him that he can’t have music on in the background. He has to be either sitting listening to music or … we can’t. I now cook with quiet. I just got used to it.”

Maybe she’ll turn it back on now.
