The Beyoncé and Mariah Meetup Just Got Better

That megawatt selfie of Mariah Carey and Beyoncé seemed like it would be impossible to top, but just a day later the singing sensations have done it.

On Monday, Mimi posted another photo from Bey’s backstage visit at her Mariah Carey: All I Want For Christmas Is You show at the Beacon Theatre in NYC and Blue. Ivy. Carter. In. Da. House. Yep, Beyoncé brought her mini-me to the show. And while it sometimes seems like a challenge to impress the worldly 4-year-old kiddo, she appeared to be enjoying herself. Or maybe she was just covering her shocked face — What in the world is this lady wearing?! — with that fan.

Mariah’s dynamic duo, twins Roc and Roe, were also in the pic, wearing their festive finest — as they took the stage that night to hang with Santa during the show. She captioned the pic “Backstage at Christmas time with our beautiful children,” adding the hashtags, “#christmas,” “#family,” and “love.”

Sometimes Instagram commenters are vile and other times they are pretty hilarious. In this case, it was the latter because there were so many funnies speculating what Kanye West and Kim Kardashian would think about the photo. (One of Kanye’s recent rants about Jay Z included a bit about how their kids “never even play together.”) AngKaz08 described it as, “The pic Kim & Kanye are dying to take.” Meanwhile, caeias1 wrote, “Someone going to be steamed. They can’t get a play date with Bey kids but she’ll let them play with Mariahs[sic].” (Hey, we’re just glad to see Kanye back on his feet — even despite that hair.)

While the original photo of Mariah and Bey, which was posted Sunday, has 176,000 likes in two days, this photo of the women with their kids has 134,000 in 10 hours. (The power of Blue Ivy!) One of its fans is Roc and Roe’s daddy, Nick Cannon. The America’s Got Talent host reposted the shot with the caption, “Lucky Ass Little Kids!!!! LOL” and a bunch of jealous face emojis.
