Designed by Angelo Donghia in the 1980s, Trump’s penthouse gets its style inspo from the French rococo extravagance of Louis XIV and the Palace of Versailles. Given its ceiling-to-floor marble columns and floors, 24-karat gold accents, crystal chandeliers, and massive Greek sculptures, we get why the White House might seem like downsizing for Trump.
