Sara Bareilles Reveals She's Recovering From Minor Surgery After Removing an Uterine Fibroid

The singer and creator of Broadway's 'Waitress' revealed on Twitter and Instagram Wednesday that she has been recovering from minor surgery. "I have been healing from a minor surgery removing a fibroid on my uterus," Bareilles, 36, revealed. In the accompanying photo collage, the five-time Grammy nominee donned a hospital gown and photographed her mother Bonnie Halvorsen and sister Jennifer Bareilles.
