Sylvester Stallone was in Nice, France, at the time of the horrifying tragedy on Thursday that left 84 dead and more than 200 injured after a truck plowed through a crowd of people celebrating Bastille Day.

The action star touched down in Nice earlier this month, just a few days before his 70th birthday, along with his wife, Jennifer Flavin, and the couple’s three daughters, Sophia, Sistene, and Scarlet.
