Poor Sansa. Out of all the remaining original characters on Game of Thrones, she's certainly had it the worst. She's been passed between terrible, abusive men for six seasons and had to watch her family get killed off. And this is considering Bran has been half-paralyzed and trapped in a cave, Jaime Lannister has lost a hand, Arya has been blinded and beaten, and Jon Snow has been briefly killed.

Things started looking up in Season Six, when Snow liberated Winterfell, defeating the horrible Ramsey, and restoring Sansa to her proper place at the head of her home.

And even though one of the most unsettling theories for Sansa's fate has been debunked, actress Sophie Turner tells Entertainment Weekly that things won't be so cheery for her character in Season Seven.

"She's seemingly in control for the first time–and it really suits her," Turner told EW. "She's kind of having a bit of a power trip. But she's also becoming more insecure, because there are threats to the power that she holds."

I mean, this is Game of Thrones we're talking about, so I guess it's dumb to think anyone will ever be remotely happy. But at least all the Stark kids can be miserable together.

"What overall excites me about this season is that main characters are coming together and it feels like things are ramping up," Turner said. "It's really exciting and all feels like it's coming to a big conclusion."
