Seth Meyers and Wife Alexi Ashe Meyers Welcome a Son

Seth Meyers is a dad!
The Late Night with Seth Meyers star and his wife Alexi Ashe Meyers welcomed their first child — a son — on Sunday, March 27, his rep confirms to People exclusively.
While Meyers, 42, and Ashe, 32, a human rights lawyer, have yet to reveal the name or any additional details, the talk show host plans to share more during Tuesday’s Late Night.
Earlier this month, the dad-to-be talked about the excitement of having his first child.
“I’m most looking forward to seeing who it looks like, that’s the first thing out of the gate,” he told People. “Although … a lot of people have said my wife and I look alike, so I think that’s the one thing we know, is that the child will look like us. If not, there’s a real problem.”
One thing the couple did to prep for the baby? Ask for plenty of advice from seasoned parents.
“It’s a lot more fun talking to people who are on their third kid than people who are on their first kid,” he said. “First kid people have a checklist [of] a million things long, whereas on their third kid, they basically just tell you, ‘Look, [babies] are indestructible. You don’t have to worry about it. They’re gonna get bumps and bruises and it’ll be fine.’ So we’ve been trying to spend more time with people that have multiple children.”
The couple, whose pregnancy was revealed in November, were married in 2013 on Martha’s Vineyard.
