See the 'Raising Hope' Twins As Iconic, Scary Halloween Kids

Chucky and his bride from the Child’s Play saga. Carol Anne in Poltergeist. Regan from The Exorcist. Some of the creepiest Halloween characters come in small packages.
Now, production company 22 Vision has created one of its signature throwback photo shoots featuring some of those characters. It stars twins Baylie and Rylie Cregut, who played Hope on the Fox series Raising Hope from 2011 to 2014 and have now grown into little girls… ones who usually are quite lovely and not at all frightening.

The now 5-year-old twins have matured so much that they weren’t afraid to take part in the scary shoot, probably because their mother adores horror films and Halloween. She showed them photos of the characters they would be playing in front of the camera weeks ahead of time, and they both quickly chose different ones as their favorites.

“Baylie and Rylie are such amazing little girls,” Brian Pocrass, the founder of 22 Vision, said. “Not only were they easy to work with but they both embodied a genuine passion for scary movies, which is rare for their young age. The girls were fascinated with the whole transformation process — the elaborate costumes, hair, and makeup. It was like the ultimate game of dress up for them."
After their session, Baylie revealed that her favorite character to pose as was one of the twins from The Shining, because she loves dresses. Her sister preferred Carol Anne, because the blond wig required to play her made Rylie feel like a princess.
The twins’ Halloween fun won’t end with the photo shoot. They’ll also be bringing goodies to patients at an L.A. children’s hospital who are too sick to go trick-or-treating this year and, presumably, watching lots of scary movies.
