See Taylor Swift Perform Her Maid of Honor Duties
Taylor Swift can add stellar maid of honor to her résumé.
The pop star recently shared a pic of herself standing by her childhood best friend, Brittany LaManna, on her wedding day. “I met her when I was 10 days old, and him in kindergarten,” she wrote on Instagram. “Now they’re married and I’m the happiest maid of honor ever.” Now the bride has shared a video from the big day, complete with tidbits from Swift’s sweet toast.
“He would chase her and pursue her through middle school and junior high and high school, and their paths would diverge, and then come back together,” she said to the room full of wedding guests. “And it would be so magically unpredictable but at the same time, so incredibly fated, just like the best love stories are.”
The blond beauty later added, “My favorite accomplishment of my entire life is that everything in my life has changed, except me and Brittany. She was my partner in crime at Brownies sleep-away camp, and she was my date to the Grammys.” Talk about #FriendshipGoals!
Not only did Taylor knock her speech out of the park, but she can be seen in the video buttoning her BFF into her dress, applauding after the couple’s first kiss as man and wife, and even performing during the reception.
