See Beyoncé and Blue Ivy Get Into Costume as Salt-N-Pepa for Halloween (Oooh, Baby, Baby!)

Beyoncé knows how to become No. 1 in a hot party show — and at a costume party.

Yet again, the superstar proved that her Halloween game is strong as she recruited her mini me, Blue Ivy, and mom, Tina Knowles Larson, to become a successful female musical trio: Salt-N-Pepa. The ladies recreated the hip-hop group from the “Push It” era – and it’s good. Real good.

The 35-year-old songstress, who recently ended her Formation tour, shared behind-the-scenes photos from her party prep — all set to the “Push It” track, natch! — as the family headed to her cousin Angie Beyince’s ’80s and ’90s-themed 40th birthday party on Saturday.

Beyoncé went all out with her costume. First, she procured a replica of the “Push It” bomber jacket with “idol maker” on one side and “let it be music” on the other. She also rocked a lot of red spandex, a black wig, colorful hat, gold chains, earrings, kicks, and a fanny pack.

Blue had a nearly identical look, but she rocked white lycra with green kicks. Mama Tina was in black with a different jacket. (She must have been DJ Spinderella — you know how she always got the short end of the stick.)

Our favorite photos of them getting ready were ones of Bey and Blue. The Lemonade songstress styled up Blue while the 4-year-old had dinner — complete with sippy cup — on a tray on the floor.

And then this one — just because #motherdaughtergoals.

Needless to say, the ladies of Salt-N-Pepa — Cheryl “Salt” James, Sandra “Pepa” Denton, and DJ Spinderella — were touched by the tribute. They took to social media to share the pic.

The group, which still tours, called it “dope” and added, “Approves.”

So where was Jay Z during all this “Push It” business? Don’t worry — he was there too.

The rapper sported a colorful leather jacket, gold chain, and what seemed to be Dwayne Wayne’s funky specs from A Different World.

At the party, he and Bey hit the dance floor hard as tunes like “The Humpty Dance” played.

Halloween is a big event for the family. Last year, Bey, Jay, and Blue dressed up as characters from Eddie Murphy’s 1988 film Coming to America.
