Savannah Chrisley Crowned Miss Tennessee Teen USA
Savannah Chrisley may have found fame starring alongside her family on Chrisley Knows Best, but she had a crowning moment all her own on Saturday. The 18-year-old stunner, who began competing in beauty pageants long before appearing on the USA network hit, was officially named 2016 Miss Tennessee Teen USA over the weekend.
She wowed judges with her beauty, brains, and charisma as her reality TV family cheered her on. And no one was more proud then her dear old dad, Todd, who shared a slew of photos and videos on Instagram.
“My @savannahchrisley has given us more smiles and moments of greatness than I have space to list, I am so proud of you for who you are and the young woman you are becoming, you were born with a double crown yet the Lord chose to crown you again,” he captioned one snap of his daughter posing with a few of the other contestants.
While fans of her show know that the Chrisleys live outside Atlanta, Georgia, Savannah recently moved to Nashville to begin her college career at Lipscomb University, thus her competing in the state of Tennessee. And though she’ll most likely be hitting the books pretty hard, the straight-A student announced on Instagram that she’s excited to compete in the big Miss Teen USA pageant, writing, “NATIONALS HERE I COME.”
