Last night, on International Women's Day, Samantha Bee pretended to film Full Frontal in the total absence of women. Her show, in its two years, has been celebrated for having the most diverse writers' room in late-night. Bee is the most prevalent female voice in political satire, and her progressive credentials are near unbeatable. "The fucking thing you have to do is just hire people," she once said. "It's not really the most complicated transaction. Find some diverse people and actually give them jobs."
Anyway, Full Frontal would suck without women, as would most things-point proven, a million times over.
Nevertheless, late-night is still up to its eyeballs in material about men doing ill-advised (or un-advised) things in government big and small. Like this group of upstanding gentleman, for example.

Instead of spending all her time talking about one gluttonous boob with oddly voluminous hair, Bee decided to talk about another, more local hero: Scott Walker, the second man to drop out of the Republican primary race and the last man you thought you'd have to think about today. Not only will you think about him for the next seven minutes, you'll also think about his digestive tract and bowel movements.
Walker, who allegedly eats two ham and cheese sandwiches a day and is just a regular guy, also thinks Wisconsinites who have trouble paying for their food should have to go through even more trouble to get it. (More on that here.) Just so long as he has cream puffs and fried pork drippings and cheese curds to tweet about.
