Salma Hayek Can’t Stop Rescuing Animals
Salma Hayek has a pretty big soft spot when it comes to animals.
During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, she revealed that at one point she had rescued up to 30 animals and promised her husband, Francois-Henri Pinault, that she was going to stop.
“I swore no more,” she explained.
But while filming a movie in Bulgaria, the Latina actress said she came across an abandoned puppy that was left to die and she just couldn’t resist.
“I took him and then I was terrified,” Hayek confessed. “How am I going to explain this to my husband?"
The 49-year-old star then came up with "this brilliant idea to pretend that [she] was having an affair."
Hayek assumed that once she told her husband the news of her infidelity wasn’t true, he would be so relieved that he wouldn’t be mad about the dog.
