What You Should Do If You Have Sabra Hummus in Your Fridge After Nationwide Recall

You may be wondering what to do with any Sabra hummus hanging out in your refrigerator after a nationwide recall.

The dipping company voluntarily recalled many of their products made prior to November 8 once discovering Listeria monocytogenes at a manufacturing facility where the hummus is made. Although no known finished products contain the Listeria, the company is being extra cautious and advising you throw away anything that might contain the seriously-infectious bacteria.

If you’re one of many hummus fans who have the product stocked at all times, it’s imperative to look at the date and toss any products with a “Best Before January, 23, 2017” date or sooner on the lid of the product. Sabra has the full list of items and SKU numbers listed on their website, and says you are safe if the product is one of the following: Sabra Organic Hummus, Sabra Salsa, Sabra Guacamole, and Sabra Greek Yogurt Dips.
