Rosie O’Donnell Says She and Ivanka Trump Met ‘Face to Face’ in N.Y.C.

Rosie O’Donnell claims she had an unexpected run-in with a family member oflongtime nemesis Donald Trump. The comedian tweeted about meeting Ivanka Trump in New York on Wednesday.
“@IvankaTrump in a city of 8 million – we meet face 2 face – I thank u [for] listening – mother [to] mother – on this new years week – my best [to] u,” O’Donnell, 54, wrote, referencing the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah.

Trump, 34, has yet to comment or respond to O’Donnell’s tweet. O’Donell confirmed to Eyewitness News Anchor Bill Ritter that they bumped into each other at around 9 p.m. at the restaurant Nobu.
Her kind words come over a week after the former View co-host called Ivanka’s father an “orange anus” in response to the GOP nominee’s derogatory remarks from the Sept. 26 presidential debate during which he said O’Donnell “deserves” his misogynistic attacks.
“Somebody who’s been very vicious to me – Rosie O’Donnell. I said very tough things to her and I think everybody would agree that she deserves it and nobody feels sorry for her,” Trump, 70, stated during his first face-off against Hillary Clinton.

At the time, O’Donnell reacted by tweeting, “HE WILL NEVER BE PRESIDENT,” along with a subsequent tweet that read: ““The 5 mins orange anus can’t seem to get over. Tell the truth – shame the donald #ImWithHer.”
