Time has not healed the rift between Rosie O’Donnell and her daughter Chelsea. The comedian used social media to reach out to the teen, who ran away from home over the summer to move in with her boyfriend.

Along with a photo of them goofing around together in happier times, Rosie wrote on Instagram, “A guy on a roof in a flood — boats comes by — ‘No, he says - GOD will save me’ the guy drowns - in heaven he yells at GOD - “Y DIDNT U SAVE ME ?” GOD REPLIES - who do u think sent the boats?”

The one-time The View co-host ended the post by adding, “Help awaits as hope dwindles #comeONkid.”

Chelsea, who is now 18, hasn’t responded on her social media account, but she has been posting fast and furiously. The girl, who struggles with depression and anxiety, took to Instagram to attempt to sell her sweet dog, Panda, because, “I need $ for bills and s–t.” She’s also selling an iPod Nano.

Chelsea, who was adopted by Rosie as a baby, also recently connected with her birth father, according to her Twitter. She previously formed a relationship with her birth mother, visiting her in Wisconsin, but she shared on social media that things had entered a rocky phase between them.

Currently, Chelsea is living with a boyfriend, Nicholas Alliegro, according to her Instagram. When police found her after she initially ran away, however, she was at the family home of a man named Steven Sheerer, who is an alleged heroin dealer whom she met on Tinder. Sheerer initially faced child endangerment charges when Chelsea was found (as well as third-degree distribution of obscenity for sending her a nude photo when she was still underage). However, the charges were dropped after Chelsea made an appeal to the court on his behalf in September.

Rosie, a mother of five, also posted about her upcoming birthday — she’ll be 54 on March 21. Maybe she’ll get a great present: a repaired relationship with her daughter.
