Roseanne Barr is expected to undergo surgery after taking a fall in San Francisco on Tuesday.
The Roseanne actress revealed Wednesday on Twitter that she slipped and broke her kneecap in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park while visiting her son.
“Fell broke kneecap! Did Hillary drone me? Lol,” Barr, 63, first shared in a series of tweets on Wednesday that accompanied a swollen picture of her left knee. “i will be in bed on crutches for three months! OMG,” she later posted.

Although the actress’ fall resulted in a break that will require surgery, she had her sister by her side — and thanked the San Francisco Paramedics for transporting her to the hospital.
“guys, i slipped in GG park in SF wh visiting my son, broke my kneecap in 3 places. My sister was w me, took control of situation. Surgery Mon,” she tweeted. “i really want to thank the very kind & wonderful #SFParamedics who had to cart my fat ass out of Golden Gate Park over 2 hospital yesterday!

In April 2015, Barr revealed that she is going blind due to eye disease and has been smoking marijuana to handle the pain. “I have macular degeneration and glaucoma, so [marijuana] is good for me for that because I have pressure in my eyes. It’s a good medicine for a lot of things,” she stated. “My vision is closing in now.”
