Robert Downey Jr. Reveals Gwyneth Paltrow Is His ‘Free Pass’
Robert Downey Jr. appeared on The Howard Stern Show Wednesday and opened up about his relationship with Gwyneth Paltrow.
In case you didn’t know, the two play love interests in the Iron Man flicks. Stern pointed out that there aren’t enough steamy scenes between the actors, but RDJ noted that there is hope for his character’s romantic future when he revealed Paltrow would be coming back for more Marvel movies. “We need her,” he told the shock jock.
Downey Jr., who’s been married to wife Susan for 10 years, went on to share a little more about his love for Paltrow. “I’m very happily married,” he said when asked if he looks up his ex-girlfriends on Facebook. “I guess I can dream a little bit. My free pass — because her and Susan are such good friends — is Paltrow. I gotta get her back in these [Marvel] movies so I can make out with her on screen again."
When Stern inquired if his wife gets jealous about his love scenes with the blond beauty, the actor replied, "She could care less!"
