Rihanna Drops the L Bomb
Rihanna is feeling the love.
On Thursday, the singer took to Instagram to thank everyone who helped her in her career, ultimately landing her the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award last Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards.
“#VMA2016 night was one that I would never forget,” she wrote alongside a clip of her acceptance speech. “I have the most incredible people in my life! My family, friends, loved ones, my fans, my team!!! All gifted beautiful spirits! And I’m so grateful that God has precisely and flawlessly arranged our paths to meet at each other! It’s because of you that I was able to reach this moment in my career!”
Drake presented RiRi with the trophy at the awards show, proclaiming his love for her in a very public way.
“She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old,” he said. “She’s one of my best friends in the world.”
The feeling is mutual. “@champagnepapi your speech was so touching and I love you for that,” the Barbadian singer continued writing in her lengthy post.
