Reclusive Macaulay Culkin’s Best Social Media Moments
It’s well established that Macaulay Culkin doesn’t look the same as he did during his Home Alone days, but he’s still almost instantly recognizable when you see him. Between the flowing blond hair, painted digits, flannel shirts, and paint-splattered pants, he stands out from most polished Hollywood types.
This past weekend, he didn’t need to be tagged in Paris Jackson’s Instagram photo for people to spot him. Culkin, who doesn’t have his own social media accounts, was being treated to a pedicure (of course!) by his goddaughter. “Model? nah i paint hipsters toenails for a living,” she captioned the shot of the 36-year-old artist with his foot on her knee.

For someone not on a social media, Culkin still turns up on it anyway — and his game is strong. Let’s take a look.
Meta Mac: Remember when he wore the T-shirt of Ryan Gosling wearing him?

Weekend at Bernie’s: In 2014, as rumors swirled about his alleged drug habit, he cleared up an Internet death hoax by … pretending to be dead.

Pizza treats: The Pizza Underground, which was his parody band that sang about slices, shared the best Mac moments ever on social. Here he is making fun of Home Alone — in a pink animal costume.

Channeling Warhol With Extra Cheese: The video the band shared of him eating pizza for four and a half minutes was such a big deal that all the news outlets covered it too, including Time.
Art class with Paris: This isn’t the first photo Michael Jackson‘s daughter shared of her godfather. There was this recent gem. That face, though. (If you don’t remember the relationship between Michael and Mac, may we point you in the direction of this music video at the 4:37 mark.)

Forever young: This look, shared via pal and collaborator Adam Green, was not worn on Easter.
Giddyup: Honestly, we’re still trying to figure out what the heck he said during his “very important message.”
You keep doing you, Mac.
