'Do You Really Want to Be Next?': Zendaya Feuds with Julie Klausner on Twitter After the Comedian Says She's 'Starving Herself'
Difficult People star Julie Klausner is not backing down after she insinuating that Zendaya has an eating disorder and is "starving herself" following her appearance at the 2016 Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday.
After joking that the Disney Channel star is a "thinspo model for your impressional tweens" after Zendaya's acceptance speech during the award show, the Hulu star made a reference to Zendaya's infamous feud with Giuliana Rancic.
"Zendaya's ultimate retort to Giuliana Rancic is starving herself down to the size of one of her elbowz," she wrote. You don't have to have an eating disorder to attend the Kids' Choice Awards....but it helps!
"I will never stop criticizing celebs who perpetuate dangerous beauty standards for a generation of girls who grow up thinking they're fat," Klausner continued. "And you know those public fat shamers who fake 'concern' for Melissa McCarthy's health? Consider me your fire with fire."
The comedian wrote, "I'm concerned with the generation of girls who aspire to look like Zendaya. I do not worry about Zendaya's health or care whether she eats."

Zendaya, responded in turn, writing, "Do you find this funny? I will write another paragraph to educate you as well"
However, the promised paragraph didn't come, instead the star chose to encourage people of all body types.
"Now....everyone go look in the mirror at their beautiful body, and love that s—."

However, despite Zendaya's classy response, Klausner wrote that began to be attacked by the star's fans, which she turned into a series of jokes.
I would like to use this opportunity to educate Zendaya fans that the Reagans ignored AIDS

Sticking up 4 AIDS is rad. It gets such a bad rap! Love that Zendaya goes so far as 2 have Nancy Reagan's body type! https://t.co/2qMLZr0jzA

Let's not fight. Here is my olive branch to Zendaya fans- can we just all agree that 1) all women are beautiful and 2) Zendaya hates Jews?

"For those who have spoken to me respectfully about post-racialist bias….," Klausner wrote. "...I won't apologize, non-apologize, delete tweets, backpedal or refuse to own my shit. BUT- I will be more thoughtful going forward. /end.
"I'm not for everyone," she continued. "You can take it or leave it! It's legal and more than ok not to like me!
