Princess Kate and Prince William Get Gifted Pint-Sized Life Vests for Prince George and Princess Charlotte

Prince William and Princess Kate are keeping busy on their first full day in Canada.

After flying from Victoria to Vancouver in a seaplane and visting different charities in the afternoon, the couple – unaccompanied by children Prince George and Princess Charlotte – attended a reception for young Canadian leaders making a difference in their communities and celebrities at the Telus Gardens.

While at the reception, the couple was joined by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as they chatted with the influential young people. They even got a chance to meet with a few of Team Canada's meal-winning athletes from the Olympics and Paralympic Games in Rio this Summer.

Following the reception, Will and Kate headed to the Canadian Coast Guard and Vancouver First Responders event at the Kitsilano Coast Guard station in Vanier Park. As William works as an air ambulance pilot in England, the engagement is particularly special.

The couple learned how the first responders help the people of Vancouver. They also received an adorable pair of baby life-vests for George and Charlotte!
