Lindsay Lohan

HIGH: LiLo Releases First Album, 'Speak' (2004)
After Lohan made her musical debut in "Freaky Friday," producers and audiences wanted to hear more from the actress. Starting in 2001, she began recording demo tracks with Emilio Estefan Jr. and his wife, Gloria Estefan, who signed LiLo to a five-album production deal a year later. Unfortunately, by 2004, the deal was dead, but she found a new company, Casablanca Records, to produce her album, "Speak," which was released in December of that same year. While it received mixed reviews, the album sold over 1 million units in the U.S. within a few years and charted at number four on the Billboard 200. In her hit song "Rumors," Lohan sings: "I can tell that you're watching me / and you're probably gonna write what you didn't see / well I just need a little space to breathe / can you please respect my privacy." Evidently, living in the public eye was starting to get to her.
