Stay-at-home moms didn’t love it when Claire Danes basically said she wouldn’t want their jobs. (And omg!’s story got plenty of comments from readers insisting that Danes must just want the nanny to raise her 2-month-old son Cyrus.) But can’t the 33-year-old actress still be a good mom if she’s working? We say yes! "I’ve always wanted to have kids, but I’m glad I didn’t until now. When I was thinking about [working and being a mother] originally, I was really nervous about it," the "Homeland" star said in Elle‘s February issue. "I think I would make a lousy stay-at-home mom. It just wouldn’t suit me. I feel so fortunate in that I’ve had this straight-arrow focus … that I wanted to act."
