Yvette Wilson

Comedian and actress Yvette Wilson broke into showbiz with small roles in movies including 1995’s “Friday,” 1993’s “Poetic Justice,” and 1996’s “Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood.” However, most of her fans will recall her role on “Moesha,” which starred Brandy. Wilson later exited the show to appear on the spin-off “The Parkers,” reprising her role as Andell Wilkerson. Wilson was only 48 when she died on June 14. She had been battling cervical cancer as well as kidney disease.
