The ban has been lifted!

Having been banned from Chili’s more than 11 years ago for getting slightly too intoxicated, Pam Beesly is officially once again welcomed to go order as many margaritas and fajitas as her heart desires.

Beesly portrayer Jenna Fischer tweeted Monday from outside of a Chili’s restaurant, asking, “Should I try to go in?,” and the internet went nuts for the actress’ callback to The Office season 2 premiere, “The Dundies.” The restaurant got in on the fun by tweeting back at Fischer, but now they have taken it to the next level and announced that she is no longer banned.

In an official press release, Chili’s declared, “Effective immediately, Chili’s Grill & Bar has removed the longstanding ban on a Scranton, Pennsylvania woman who allegedly caused a disturbance during a company awards party held at a Chili’s near the Pennsylvania town of Scranton.”

Chili’s President Kelli Valade added, “After reviewing the good conduct of Pam, I have decided to lift the now 11-year ban. Pam is an inspiration to many and we welcome her with open arms.”

Fischer responded to the news, tweeting, “OMG! Second drink!!!”

EARLIER: Just in time for awards season, The Office alum Jenna Fischer made a pit stop at the location of the most iconic awards show of them all: The Dundies.

On Tuesday, the actress, who starred for nine seasons as Pam Beesly, shared a picture outside a Chili’s restaurant, and asked, “Should I try to go in?”

Other than Hooters, Chili’s was Michael Scott’s (Steve Carrell) favorite restaurant. The bar and grill was the boss’s go-to place for important business meetings, as well as for the Dundler Mifflin awards show, The Dundies.

In the season 2 premiere, “The Dundies,” viewers got their first taste of the event, with Beesly scoring the coveted trophy for “Whitest Sneakers.” The episode was also noteworthy for continuing to bring Pam and Jim (John Krasinski) closer.

The restaurant got in on the fun later in the day, citing Beesly’s drunk Dundies acceptance speech in which she said, “So, finally, I wanna thank God, because God gave me this Dundie, and I feel God in this Chili’s tonight.”
