Nick Young Welcomes Daughter Navi
Nick Young is a dad again.
After Snapchatting the labor Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers player took to Instagram on Friday to announce the birth of his and Keonna Green‘s second child, daughter Navi Young. The exes are already parents to 4-year-old son Nick Jr.
In the adorable photo, the newborn has her tiny hand wrapped around her father’s finger. The photo is captioned “#BabyNaviYoung” with a prayer and heart emoji.
When asked by reporters as to whether he was excited to become a dad again, the NBA player replied, “Yeah” with a laugh.
The baby news comes after Young, 31, and his now ex-fiancée Iggy Azalea called off their yearlong engagement following an alleged cheating scandal. Soon after, reports surfaced that Green got pregnant while Young was still dating Azalea.
“I have never even been told by Nick that his baby mother is pregnant,” Azalea tweeted. “This is just like a second shot to the chest. And I feel like I don’t even know who the hell it is I’ve been loving all this time.”
The couple, who got engaged in June 2015, tried to work things out for several months following the allegations. In a video that went viral in March, Young bragged about cheating on Azalea with other women.
“I needed a lot of time,” Azalea told PEOPLE recently. “I mean, you wake up one morning and your fiancé is having a baby with someone else, you’re going to need some time, right?”
