Set in a 1991 Pittsburgh suburb, the coming-of-age story focuses on Charlie (Logan Lerman), a shy high school freshman struggling to fit in while hiding a secret from his past. Seniors Sam (Emma Watson) and her gay stepbrother Patrick (Ezra Miller) take the young outcast under their wings and help him find his place. The star-studded cast also includes Dylan McDermott, Kate Walsh, Nina Dobrev and Paul Rudd.
