Tim Robbins Ripped to Shreds by Hillary Clinton Supporters Over His Sanders Speech (Video)
Tim Robbins really brought Hillary Clinton supporters to the brink on Monday.
“Bob Roberts” star Robbins came under intense social-media fire after stumping for Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders in Wisconsin, where he diminished Clinton’s February win in the South Carolina primary and appeared to liken her supporters to “sheep.”
Appearing for Sanders in Green Bay, Robbins gave a speech in which he criticized the “propaganda” that insists that Clinton is the Democrats’ presumptive nominee.

While Robbins said that voters “who feel Bernie in their hearts but are supporting Hillary with their pragmatic brains” are “not bad people,” he added, “and if we were sheep, if we had gotten in line, there’d be no problem now.”
He also said that winning South Carolina “about as significant as winning Guam.”
Criticizing the media that had hailed Clinton as the presumptive candidate after her South Carolina victory, Robbins offered, “Who’s fooling who? Winning South Carolina in a Democratic primary is about as significant as winning Guam. No Democrat is going to win in South Carolina in the general election.

That was enough to enrage Clinton supporters, who tore into the actor on social media.
“Tim Robbins calling Clinton supporters ‘sheep’ because they don’t agree with him is the ultimate KETTLE BLACK,” one detractor hissed. “So stupid it burns.”
“Tim Robbins movies will be banned in the Carrigan household now,” another critic vowed. “My husband, myself and his parents are all HRC supporters.”

Robbins took to the platform himself to set the record straight on Monday.
“No disrespect to voters of SC or Guam,” Robbins wrote. “Was making a point about MSM anointing HRC after SC primary. No surprise ABC took it out of context.”
Presumably, he’s still crafting his apology to sheep.
