Penelope Cruz is opening up about motherhood and career and reveals an unforgettable topless "love scene" she once had with her idol Meryl Streep.
In a cover story for Harper's Bazaar, Cruz talks about how she's attempting to obtain a balance between her career and motherhood duties so she can spend as much time as possible with her one-year-old son Leonardo. "Maybe I'll make one movie a year, maybe two, but it's not going to be more than that because I have other priorities now."
Cruz says that although she is currently living in Los Angeles with her husband Javier Bardem and her son, she doesn't plan on staying long term because she doesn't find it the best place to raise kids. "I won't go to places where you're going to find more attention. I go to the opposite," she tells the magazine. She adds that her ideal day is "running around with my family at the beach, that's all."
On her industry idol Meryl Streep, Cruz says she's always admired her enormous talent and became "obsessed" with acting after watching her work. She even recalled doing a sexy photo shoot a few years ago for a magazine with the Academy Award-winning star. "As soon as she (Streep) got to the set, I had to sit topless on top of her. It was the most interesting love scene I've ever done."
