Natalie Portman may soon be spotted sporting pillbox hats and Chanel suits.
The actress, 31, is in talks to star in "Jackie," a Fox Searchlight film chronicling the life of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, according to Deadline.
"Jackie," penned by Noah Oppenheim, centers around the late former First Lady in the days immediately following the assassination of her husband, President John F. Kennedy.
Portman is reportedly intrigued by the script, but will not officially sign on for the film until a director is chosen for the project, according to Deadline.
The actress' "Black Swan" director, Darren Aronofsky was originally attached to direct "Jackie" alongside his then-partner, Rachel Weisz, but dropped out after he and Weisz split in 2010.
Steven Spielberg was also rumored to be interested in project back in 2010.
