When will Lindsay Lohan finally realize it’s time for her to hire a driver? The actress got into yet another car accident with her Porsche Panamera on Wednesday, just weeks after she crashed the $80,000 rental into an 18-wheeler. According to X17 Online, she had just finished a shopping spree at Chanel in Beverly Hills and was heading back to West Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont, where she often lives, when she rear-ended a rented silver Mustang. Luckily, no one was injured and police were not called to the scene, but Lohan and the driver did exchange insurance information inside of the celeb haunt. An eyewitness tells X17 that Lohan, 26, “was not driving dangerously – it was merely a minor accident in bumper-to-bumper rush hour traffic in the Sunset Plaza neighborhood.”
The actress, who is currently filming the Bret Easton Ellis-written flick “The Canyons” with porn star James Deen, just recently began driving again after the June 8 incident along California’s Pacific Coast Highway as she headed to the set of “Liz & Dick.” After colliding with the 18-wheeler, Lohan reportedly told police her assistant was driving, but that was later deemed a lie. She then said the brakes on her car failed, but Porsche did an independent test which proved that too was not true. Police have stated that they found a water bottle filled with alcohol in the crash’s debris field, and are still investigating.
Lohan doesn’t necessarily have the best track record on the road. In March, a man claimed she struck him while she attempted to exit a parking lot. Two years ago, she was videotaped clipping a baby stroller while speeding around a corner in L.A. Lohan was also convicted of two DUIs — one which resulted in her driving her car up a curb. Yet, she keeps getting behind the wheel …
